Dear FV Families,

Just one week to go until the Jog-a-Thon! Our runners are excited to be back running laps with their friends to raise money for our school. If you’re able, please take a moment to support the programs that help make the FV school experience an enriching, well-rounded one for EVERY child.

Interested in finding out more about how FV & EUSD support EVERY child? Please join us for the PTA meeting THIS Thursday on Zoom, as Jennifer Bond joins us to talk about the Equity work in our EUSD school communities.

We could still use another parent or two for our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), whose purpose is to advise the school on programs and services for English learners, and the School Site Council (SSC) on the development of the School Plan for Student Achievement. We are loving the cooler weather on campus, and want to remind parents to send in a jacket, as the COVID protocol of keeping classroom doors and windows open remains in place, even at 8am – and it can be chilly that early! Overall, our students continue to do REALLY well with all the protocols. We know it has been a long roller coaster of a journey, but they are doing GREAT! Please check in with your child about how it’s going, commend them for doing their part to keep schools open full-time (it helps to keep making that connection), and connect with your teacher or with me about any questions.
